ArtReach Mission Statement
ArtReach takes professional artists into elementary schools throughout San Diego County to provide standards-based, visual art workshops. ArtReach provides both fee for service programs and, when able, grant-funded free programs for schools that have few or no art resources and no ability to pay.

ArtReach Teaching Artists
All of our teaching artists make a living creating art.  Our team includes plein air painters, print makers, graphic designers, photographers and more.  Though their techniques differ, they have a passion for art and a commitment to making art experiences available for children in common.  Our artists share pieces of their own work before helping students find their own artistic voice.  Our team believes art is an exploration and that there is no one “right” way to approach a project.  We nurture originality and confidence in every student.

ArtReach in the Community
Look for ArtReach at ArtWalk in Little Italy in April and ArtWalk on the Bay at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront Park in the fall. ArtReach hosts community art projects at these and other festivals. These settings offer an art event for the entire family – from collaborative murals to individual mini-masterpieces.
