Community. Access. Connection.

An ongoing accessible series of artist workshops

Since 2007, ArtReach has served students across San Diego County with quality and accessible art lessons. Traveling to schools, sites, and events, we deliver our mission, igniting youth creativity. Now, we aim to expand upon that mission and provide access to visual arts education by professional artists to all of San Diego through our newest endeavor: Community. Access. Connection

Hosted in the ArtReach Studio (2399 5th Avenue), these workshops are designed and led by professional artists from our community. Through Community. Access. Connection. we invite you, our neighbors, to participate in “pay what you can” fine arts workshops. Each workshop is 2 hours and offers a maximum of fifteen seats per session to ensure that everyone receives plenty of time, inspiration, and instruction from the artist and assistants. Perhaps you’ll even make a new friend or two! Participants can sign up for workshops as they are announced, and can expect to learn a diverse array of art mediums, techniques, and styles, from acrylic painting and collage to textile art.

Although we suggest a donation of $20 per participant, a monetary contribution is not mandatory for participation. Through this, we hope to break down the financial barriers that often deter people from accessing arts education. Our suggested donation helps support material funding and artist stipends for each workshop. Ultimately, we aim to expand our outreach to share our space and our mission with a greater audience of inspired artists and neighbors of all ages.

Will you join us?
