Acrylic Painting: The Art of Realism w/ Chad Berwald
May 6 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm PDT
Free – $20.00
Acrylic painting is a versatile medium and has captured the eyes of countless people. One of the best ways to brush up on your painting skills is through painting still life objects like fruits and vegetables.
In The Art of Realism, you will learn how to use and apply highlights and shadows, and learn techniques of applying and blending color. Attendees will go home with realistic fruit or vegetable wood magnets!
Chad Berwald is a creative mentor at Revision, an art studio for people with disabilities in Hillcrest, San Diego. Supporting, teaching, and inspiring artists is my passion! His inspiration comes from my childhood, 80’s and 90’s pop culture, nostalgia! Memories and art blend together so beautifully. In his downtime he’s submitting and showing art at local hot spots such as Mike Hess Brewery, ARTS, Mal Bicho Collective and The Studio Door.
