Celebrating 17 Years of ArtReach!

Today is ArtReach’s 17th birthday!

To celebrate, we wanted to share a thoughtful message from Sarah Holbach, ArtReach’s Executive Director:

“When I joined ArtReach 11 years ago, we were just starting our journey to bring art into schools and communities where it was needed most. From those humble beginnings, we’ve grown to spread color, creativity, and joy throughout San Diego County—impacting thousands of young people and families through our artist in residence, mural, and community programs.

Today, I’m filled with gratitude as we celebrate this milestone, especially with the opening of our brand-new studio space. These studios are now home to morning, evening, and weekend classes for kids, families, teens, and adults. They represent the heart of what we do: creating access to art for everyone, because we believe that art is essential for the wellbeing of all San Diegans.

As we reflect on 17 amazing years of impact, we’re excited for what’s to come! If you’d like to celebrate with us, consider a birthday gift—whether it’s a donation or an item from our Amazon wishlist. Every contribution helps us continue our mission of making art accessible to all.”

Thank you for being part of our journey. Here’s to many, many more years of creating together!
