Impact starts with art. Access starts with you.
Join us for another year of San Diego Gives on Tuesday, September 9th, a day that brings our community together in a celebration of generosity and support for local nonprofits. As we launch our End of Year giving season, we invite you to be a part of ArtReach’s week of giving September 8th-12th and discover the impactful work we’re doing in the San Diego community. Your support fuels our mission to ignite the creative spark in every young artist and keep our programs accessible to all.
Will you help us create lasting change in our community?
Our goal is to raise $10,000, and your generous contributions help us bring high-quality, standards-based visual arts education to 10,000 K-12 students across San Diego County. Every donation, big or small, makes a difference.

What’s ArtReach all about?
Since our founding in 2007, ArtReach has joyfully empowered over 75,000 students through in-school artist residencies, mural projects, community workshops, and meaningful partnerships. For countless young people who might not otherwise have access to visual arts opportunities, we strive to fill this gap by providing meaningful and lasting creative experiences.

Residency Programs
Teaching Artists develop visual arts curricula focused on social-emotional learning. Students explore various art materials, master new techniques, and learn about historical, modern, and contemporary artists, creating connections between their artwork and the world around them.

Mural Programs
Mural Artists collaborate directly with youth and community members of all ages to design and paint murals at schools and community sites. Murals provide an opportunity for youth and the broader San Diego community to create something transformative and lasting for their space.

Studio Programs
Studio Programs aim to expand visual arts education through high quality art workshops and explorative youth programming at our studio space in Hillcrest. We offer a range of free and low-cost art workshops for kids, teens, and families of all skill levels, providing a nurturing and welcoming creative.
