Anna Laroque joined ArtReach in 2019 as an intern to support fundraising events, most notably, the first Charity Art Auction where artists transformed surfboards into unique works of art. She instantly felt a strong connection to ArtReach’s mission and values and was inspired by the passion, creativity, and dedication of the team.
Today, Anna leads ArtReach’s fundraising and development efforts, cultivates donor relationships and community partnerships, oversees marketing and communications, and supports administrative functions that help advance the ArtReach mission. She works closely with each program to ensure the organization’s vision and impact are clearly and widely shared with supporters.
Anna received a BA in Mathematics from the University of Kansas in 2008 and a Professional Certificate in Meeting and Event Planning from San Diego State University in 2017. Her professional background includes technical writing, data analysis, customer service, work in childcare and summer camps, and lifelong engagement with visual arts in a variety of media.
Anna is passionate about connecting people through the arts and creating opportunities that empower youth to express themselves. Her creativity, outside-the-box mindset, and deep appreciation for engaging the community continually inspire her work at ArtReach.
Outside of work, Anna is an avid reader, enjoys attending reading clubs and book events, dabbles in crochet, jewelry, and stained glass, cheers on the Kansas Jayhawks and Kansas City Royals from afar, and sees her favorite bands live to soothe her emo millennial heart. She’s also the (self-proclaimed) best auntie to two rambunctious boys and two aggressively loving French bulldogs.
