Kristina (she/her) joined ArtReach in 2023 after graduating from the University of California, San Diego with a B.A. in Studio Art and a B.A. in Art History, Theory, & Criticism. She began her career with organizations including The New Children’s Museum, Birch Aquarium, La Jolla Playhouse, Wonderspaces, and the UCSD Craft Center, where she developed a multidisciplinary foundation in arts administration, exhibit fabrication, and public engagement.
At ArtReach, she designs and facilitates art programming in ArtReach’s Hillcrest studio. With a background in process-based art and craft, Kristina develops and teaches classes that foster creativity and confidence in young artists. She also coordinates programs with partner organizations and facilitates public workshops at community sites across San Diego County, advancing ArtReach’s mission by bringing underrepresented craft practices to individuals lacking access to creative opportunities.
Fascinated by the power of design to shape experience and understanding, Kristina loves to study how even the smallest visual choices can have broad impact—especially within museums and other cultural institutions. She is dedicated to creating wonderful user experiences in the arts, encouraging youth creativity, and preserving folk art & craft.
When she’s not at ArtReach, Kristina enjoys gardening, trying new restaurants, listening to podcasts, and going on backpacking trips.
