Designed by Ian Stiles-Mikl, this music-themed mural celebrates Lemon Grove Academy Middle School’s vibrant music program through larger-than-life depictions of a trumpet, piano, guitar, and violin. Located directly alongside the band room, the mural helps identify the space for students, families, and visitors, while its visibility from the surrounding neighborhood extends the celebration of the school’s music program into the broader community.

A flowing ribbon connects the three walls, creating a continuous visual thread while referencing the school’s Color Guard program. Musical notes and staff lines weave throughout the composition, further reinforcing the school’s strong connection to music and performance. Together, the imagery across all three walls celebrates music as a central part of the Lemon Grove Academy Middle School community and highlights the creativity, expression, and pride of its students.
