Kaya, a born and raised San Diegan and high school junior, joined ArtReach in 2026 as a studio intern to share her lifelong passion for drawing, painting, and murals. Kaya believes that public art serves as the foundation of a vibrant community and reflection of its residents, providing a space for shared stories and connection. She finds joy in working with children, focusing on igniting their creativity and helping them find their own voices through art. As an intern, Kaya is excited to help foster an environment where creativity can thrive.

Outside of her passion for art, she enjoys visiting San Diego’s beaches, shopping and listening to music.
