About the workshop

Learn to create a screen without the need of light sensitive material. Focusing on a method using screen filler, we will print custom designs on paper or fabric while learning proper printing techniques that can be replicated at home.

Serigrafía sin cuarto oscuro: Aprende a crear pantallas sin necesidad de material fotosensible para imprimir en papel o tela. Nos enfocaremos en el método relleno de pantalla, y aprenderemos técnicas adecuadas de impresión que se pueden replicar en casa.

About the artist

Justin Tuerk is an interdisciplinary artist focusing on Photography, Printmaking, Sound, Film, and Performance with a MFA from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts University. Justin is a co-founder of the artist group the Parergon Collective which focuses on interactive performances along with the production of ephemera.

Justin Tuerk es un artista interdisciplinario centrado en Fotografía, Grabado, Sonido, Cine y Performance, con una Maestría en Bellas Artes de la Escuela del Museo de Bellas Artes de la Universidad de Tufts. Justin es co-fundador del grupo de artistas Parergon Collective, que se enfoca en performances interactivas junto con la producción de efímeros.
