Jenna June, she/her

Resident Teaching Artist

Jenna earned her BA in studio art from UCSD in 2017. Her personal art practice is intuitive and process focused, with an emphasis on using mostly recycled, found, or natural materials. While occasionally dealing with some heavy themes, she aims to bring a sense of humor and a little handmade touch to everything she makes.

Jenna has been a teaching artist for the last several years and loves to help bring the transformative power of art to the classroom. Believing that learning is always a collaborative process, she approaches education from the idea that everyone is both a teacher and a student and aims to create a safe and accessible environment for students to create, explore and grow. Seeing the look on student’s faces when they create something their proud of is one of her favorite things.
